I'm Margaret.
I write. I read. I take photos. I can be found on all the typical places on the internet, facebook, twitter, Goodreads, Flickr and even Fictionaut.
I recently re-named this site "failing better daily." It's a play on that famous Samuel Beckett quote that you can find in the footer. I feel like I fail a lot. Not in a "woe is me" kind of way, just in a "I'm really imperfect" sort of way. This is sometimes frustrating, sometimes comforting and sometimes it just means I hit the snooze button a few too many times.
This website has my name in the domain, so there's no purpose to this blog beyond me talking about things I like. Such as books, good writing, Mad Men and cute cat videos. You know, the things I'd want to talk about if we met at a party or were pen pals.
I don't really want to sell you things or treat myself like a brand.
I do want to be friends. And hear about the cool things you are doing and reading and watching and creating and writing. Especially if you are trying and failing and failing better.*
